I know I've written it loads of times...but it's just so pretty here! Yes granted, the clouds are low in the winter and it does get dreary...and yes it randomly rains here, but when it's nice, it's nice.
I took this outside the mall. The sun was just starting to set and the sky was just a beautiful mix of colours. That in combination with the mountain range in the background made this is a blissful moment for me :)
While waiting to grab another story, my cameraman and I stopped by this lake (one of the many lakes here whose name I don't know, maybe Duck Lake or something like that?). Fall is just starting to descend upon Kelowna and the leaves are beginning to change colour. The colours aren't as rich as back home in Toronto/Sauga where the leaves turn sweetly auburn, richly red, fantastically orange (that's one of the things I miss the most about back east) but it's nice to see leaves change colour again after being in the palm tree paradise that is LA.
Maybe I'll end up like these dudes later on in life. Just chilling by the lake with my fishing pole enjoying the crisp air. Except I would actually need to know how to fish, shucks.
