Last week, Global National was in town. Their new anchor, Dawna Friesen, had been criss-crossing the country meeting viewers and introducing herself as the new face of the evening newscast. The show's last stop before returning to their home base in Vancouver was Kelowna!
We were really fortunate at the station to have the chance to go out and watch the live newscast for the east coast. Here are some of the pictures I took as they broadcasted live beside Lake Okanagan in downtown Kelowna:
