I want an owl now, just like in HP

I'm not the best animal person. I am a little nervous around cats and dogs because I'm scared they'll bite me and they always seem to be lurking in the shadows, just waiting to pounce on me. Well, I might be a changed person now since I got to do a story on two owls that were being released back into the wild.

The only owls I had ever seen were in pictures books where they're just black blobs on a branch that dish out wise words of wisdom. After being up close and personal with the owls during my shoot, I am just in disbelief about how beautiful they are. They're so fluffy because of their feathers and their eyes seem like these huge yellow saucers that look like they could pierce into your soul. Don't get me wrong because they're fierce (I got to see one of the owls above take down a rat), but they seemed so majestic in real life. You don't really think much about owls but I'm practically enchanted by them now. Especially because they're also super cool in the world of Harry Potter :)
