My Stomach Just Fell In Love

How do you know when you're in love? Oh wait, correction, how do you know when your stomach is in love? When you eat what may be one of the best meals you've ever eaten and you know it's quality food made with local produce, veggies and meat. I had the most wonderful dinner in Kelowna last night with a co-worker that I'm honestly still salivating over. The restaurant was called RauDZ (yes, the DZ are capitalized) and it's right in downtown Kelowna.

This lamb chop was SUPER, SUPER tender and melted in my mouth. And to think, I didn't even like lamb until a few years ago! There was a juicy cherry sauce on top and the entire lamb chop was laid upon a bed of veggies. Honestly, I couldn't really tell what the veggies were (I'm thinking maybe some beets, sweet potatoes and a mushroom here and there),
but they were amazing!

I shared an appetizer of mussels with my co-worker. The broth the mussels were made in was out of this world! Sweet and almost creamy, I could have drank it, it was that good! Dipping the sourdough bread and the baked (not fried) fries into the broth could have been
the highlight of the entire dinner.
