The Okanagan is renowned for its apples. They grow them like crazy here (speaking of which, super excited to actually pick some apples this summer!) and they also grow them abnormally large here (as evidenced by the picture above!). This picture was taken a few weeks ago and as you can see, the height of these apples is greater than the width of an iPhone! Picking them up was similar to picking up a three pound weight at the gym (no joke, I lift those all the time)! And when I held one up to my face, no kidding, I was almost completely covered up by it. They truly were the size of my face! Good times in the valley eh? :)
